Italian company Naturitalia unveiled a new corporate identity at this year’s Fruit Attraction in Madrid, as it looks to underline the role it plays in connecting fresh produce supply with market demand.

Stand by Nature, Stand by You is its new message, and according to the group this reflects a desire to position itself not just as a commercial company but as an “interpreter of change, with a strong connection to nature, the local area, and people”.

The goal, it says, is to strengthen its links with all stakeholders in the supply chain, from producers to customers and consumers. It’s a new identity that prioritises authenticity, sustainability, and the value of both fruit and vegetable production and human capital.

To highlight the change, Naturitalia presented a newly designed exhibition stand at Fruit Attraction within the CSO Italy area.

Augusto Renella, the company’s export coordinator and marketing R&D manager, says the annual show is an opportunity to present products and services for the upcoming autumn season.

It’s also a chance to promote club products including grapes, stonefruit, Jingold-branded kiwifruit, and Opera pears.

“Among our new club fruit products are Ondine white-fleshed flat peaches and nectarines,” he notes. “The goal of Ondine production is to further enhance Naturitalia’s stonefruit offer and generate value for the entire supply chain, with an innovative product, good productivity, and high quality standards.”

The partnership with Jingold means the consortium can offer a full range of green, yellow and red kiwifruit.

Jingold’s yellow-fleshed kiwifruit has enjoyed considerable success in domestic and international markets and represents one of Naturitalia’s flagship products. “Sales volumes are increasing in international markets, in line with Jingold’s global expansion,” says Renella.

A notable premium addition to Jingold’s portfolio is Jingold Red, an attractive, red-fleshed product with distinctive flavour. In collaboration with Jingold, Naturitalia will continue to sell the variety, offering consumers an “innovative and trendy” product.

Elsewhere, with an eye on export markets, the company has expanded its range of seedless table grapes, adding Bloom Fresh club varieties such as Sugar Crisp, Sweet Celebration.

And it has broadened its fresh-cut range too via its Patfrut cooperative, with processed products like potatoes, onions, carrots, and pumpkins that meet the needs of horeca customers.
